Online Disturbance Report System
Your neighbourhood residents’ association has received a number of complaints about the noise and other nuisance emanating from The Barn, the local dance club at the corner of Granby and Church.
Use the on line form to file a report about any loud broadcasting of music AND incidents involving disturbances created by departing patrons, etc..
It is very important that any nuisance problems you have with The Barn be recorded and documented on this email log, so that your association can take appropriate steps to resolve issues as necessary.
Each report is automatically sent to:
- MGVRA
- Councillor Kyle Rae
- Municipal Licensing & Standards (MLS)
MGVRA reviews every incoming report and forwards those we believe involve the outdoor patio and disorderly departing patrons to the AGCO enforcement team.
NOTES:
- MLS has jurisdiction for all noise disturbances occurring in the City
- OUTDOOR spaces are a special case – the AGCO also has jurisdiction. That one worries club owners, their liquor licence can be at risk. Try to be specific if you can.
- If residents do not report disturbances – MLS or the AGCO will never know there is a problem.
